If any woman shall forsake her husband, and resolve to depart from him because she abhors marriage, let her be anathema.

While the Eustathians did not openly teach wives to leave their husbands, the teaching led the wife to feel superior and take whatever measures she felt necessary to not engage in conjugal relations as an unspiritual thing.
